The Mid-Prairie Drama Department is gearing up for three consecutive days of performances, beginning today. Opening night for the Golden Hawks’ production of Puffs is at 7 p.m.

Senior cast member, Haydon Bailey, explained the plot to KCII. “Many people know the story of how a certain boy wizard went to a certain wizard school and vanquished a certain noseless villain, but Puffs is the story of the side characters. [They’re] sort of the people who were never truly destined to save the world like our main character.” The production includes plenty of magic and laughs in “one hundred and ten-ish minutes”.

Additional performances will be Saturday, April 20 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets for any of the three shows are $12 for adults and $10 for students. To purchase tickets, click here.
