The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls soccer teams finish the week tonight hosting Anamosa. The Mid-Prairie girls are 5-2 this year, 2-1 in River Valley Conference play after a 4-1 win over West Branch at the Little Rose Bowl Monday night behind the first career hat trick from Elise Gingerich, a goal from Lydia Beachy, an assist from Brooklyn Schneider and a 15 save win in goal for Ruth Witthoft. This season, the Hawks have been outscored 18-15 in total on 94 shots, 48 on goal, 26 corner kicks, seven assists and 110 saves with an 86% team save percentage. Individual leaders include, Gingerich with nine goals, she and Zoey Curtiss each have two assists and in goal, Niva Helmuth has 67 saves. Anamosa is 3-2 this year, 2-0 in the RVC after a 3-2 win over Tipton Monday. The Blue Raiders have outscored their opponents 19-15 this year on 136 shots, 72 on goal, 16 corner kicks, eight assists and 66 saves with an 82% team save percentage. Individually, Chloe Brietbach has 10 goals and four assists to lead the way, Leah Whitson has 66 saves in goal. Mid-Prairie has won three of the four all-time meetings between the two schools, but it was Anamosa that grabbed a 5-4 victory last year.

The Mid-Prairie boys are 4-4 this year, and 0-2 in the River Valley after a 3-0 loss to West Branch on the road Monday. This year the Hawks have been outscored 12-11 overall on 119 shots, 50 on goal, 39 corner kicks, eight assists and 48 saves with an 84% team save percentage. Individual leaders include, Beau Flynn with four goals, Adrian Sanchez and Sawyer Hough each with two assists and Joe Hall with 30 saves in goal. Anamosa is 2-5 overall, 2-3 in conference after a 4-0 loss against Tipton Monday. The Blue Raiders have been outscored this year 25-8 in total on 89 shots, 79 on goal, nine corners, five assists and 86 saves with an 80% team save percentage. Individually, Liam Reuter has scored three times, Eli Breitbach and Cooper Gearing each have two assists and Coy Braden has 86 saves. Mid-Prairie has won all four meetings between these schools by a combined 22-1 score including 5-1 last season where Tucker Miller had a goal and two assists and Hall and Jacob Flynn combined on the win in goal.
