Friday Hillcrest Academy sophomore golf sensation Rowan Miller answered the question…How low can you go? In boys and girls Southeast Iowa Superconference duals at Blue Top Ridge at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort between the Ravens and Highland Huskies it was the second year player in maroon and black that stole the show. As part of the Hillcrest boys 178 team score, Miller fired an electric four under par 32 to earn medalist honors. Other Raven cards included Matthew Chalupa 47, Liam Schrock 48, Rylan Good 51, Ethan Yoder 56 and Lawson Schrock 64. The Highland boys were paced by medalist runner-up Colten Sypherd with a 43, followed by Isaac Giesmann 60 and Tate Stumpf 64.
The Huskies grabbed the win on the girls side, 208-303. Highland swept the individual meet honors. Emersyn Schultz was meet medalist with a 50 and Adisyn Prottsman medalist runner-up with a 52. Other Highland scores included Haley Sands and Halle Hazelett 53 and Kelsi Cerny 55. Top round for the Ravens was Claire Withrow with a 67, followed by Ava Miller 68, and Brynna O’Rourke and Izzy Frederick with 84s.
