The spotlight shines on Roth Field in Wayland tonight for one of the biggest track and field events of the season, when the WACO Warriors host the annual Eckstrand Relays. This year’s field boasts 14 schools, bringing both their boys and girls teams to compete.

Those attending from the KCII listening area include the Highland Huskies, Hillcrest Academy Ravens, Lone Tree Lions, Sigourney Savages, Washington Demons, Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves and the home Warriors. Also in action will be Danville, Fairfield, Fort Madison, HLV, Keokuk, Mediapolis, New London, and North Cedar. Action gets underway at 4:30 and continues into the evening Thursday at Roth Field in Wayland.
