The Washington County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday. On the agenda was a public hearing for a proposed animal confinement feeding operation owned by 76 Swine LLC of Keota. No comments were made during the public hearing, and under new business the proposed animal confinement was approved by the Board unanimously. The confinement will be located in the seventy-six township which is between West Chester and Keota.
