KCII News spoke with US Senator Chuck Grassley to get his thoughts on Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird making an appearance in New York for former President Donald Trump’s trial, “Well, she’s a supporter of President Trump, and I would assume that she wanted to make sure that she had his moral backing, her moral backing in what she would consider, I think she would probably consider, a political lynch job on the part of this District Attorney Bragg. And it’s probably something that would not happen if his name wasn’t Trump.” Bird, a Republican who endorsed Trump ahead of the Iowa caucuses, was seen entering the courthouse on Monday, Day 16 of the trial.
