Columbus Junction residents are encouraged to get out and enjoy a spring day tomorrow with the City’s first annual Spring Fling. Vendors, food, and fun will be on the north end of Main Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Kenan Todd, member of the Columbus Junction Community Club and Co-Owner of Bard Station Coffee House, tells KCII what can be expected by any locals or guests who attend. “There will be a pie contest. All entries welcome. The only rules are they have to be in a disposable pie plate, they have to have a recipe and not require refrigeration. Louisa County Conservation will be doing archery for the little kids to participate in. Bausch Towing will have some kids games set up. And then there will also be a fundraiser cake walk with Columbus Discoveries Thrift Store raising money for the new horse arena at the fairgrounds.”
In addition to the games and competitions, more than a dozen vendors will be on site. For a full list of vendors at the first annual Columbus Junction Spring Fling, click this story at KCIIradio.com.
