Highland High School joins several in the KCII listening area this week to graduate its seniors. The Huskies’ Class of 2024 will take the stage and receive their diplomas on Sunday, May 19.
Highland’s graduation ceremony begins at 1 p.m. in the High School gym. Doors open at noon, the same time that seniors are supposed to arrive. Speakers will include the valedictorian, salutatorian, and Middle/High School language arts teacher James Higdon. Additionally, those in attendance will hear performances from the Huskies’ band and choir.
Class colors for the Highland seniors are red and white. The tulip has been selected as the class flower, while the class motto is “Life is like an uncrustable, no matter which way you flip it the bread always comes first”.
