The Highland Huskies fell to West Liberty 6-0 last night on the baseball diamond. Highland got one hit and one stolen base each from sophomore Bryce Hazelett and freshman Landon Roling but could not crack the scoreboard.
The Huskies were coming off a pair of losses on Saturday. Highland fell to BGM by a final score of 3-1, getting two hits from junior Ryker Miller but being unable to score enough to catch the Bears.
Highland also lost to Grand View Christian 15-5 in six innings. Freshman Hunter Siebel had two runs batted in for the Huskies and joined Hazelett and junior Logan McFarland in having one hit and one run scored each. The losses drop Highland to 3-6. The Huskies next play tomorrow night against Van Buren County.
