The Washington County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday. On the agenda was the discussion and action regarding the bids received related to the Orchard Hill Renovation project. Supervisor Marcus Fedler gives more information on the bids, “Basically, six out of seven of them were within a couple hundred thousand dollars of each other. The low bid was Woodruff Construction. We are over our budget, the budget that we have obviously has contingency in it, the number that we are over is about one hundred and eighty-four thousand. We’ve already done some preliminary discussions, very kind of off the cuff, discussions about where we can find that money, and we are very confident that we can find it.” The Supervisors voted unanimously to accept the bid from Woodruff Construction.
