The Washington Police Department received several reports of break-ins at local businesses during the last week and weekend. The lone suspect is taking mostly cash and causing considerable damage to property. The suspect was dressed in all black and wearing a face covering. Local authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect through screenshots of security cameras that are available at the Washington Police Departments Facebook Page. Anyone with any information about the burglaries, pictures/video of a person matching the description in or near any business or sees someone matching the description walking late at night or early morning is asked to contact them at 319-653-2107.
