The Washington County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday. On the agenda after a closed session was a discussion and action regarding the open position of Director of the Washington County Ambulance Services. The Supervisors came back from a closed session, and Supervisor Jack Seward Jr made this motion, “I would like to motion that we offer the position of Washington County Ambulance Director to Jordan Wright.” Jordan Wright will begin as the new Washington County Ambulance Director. Wright is currently a paramedic with the service and will begin his role as Director once all of the agreed-upon paperwork has been completed; no official start date was mentioned.
