For the fourth-consecutive year, the Free Summer Outdoor Concert Series makes its return to the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. The first of four free concerts this summer is Thursday, June 27.
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. directly outside the Center at 200 North Main Street in Fairfield. All concerts in the series feature artists from Iowa, beginning this Thursday with The Riverdogs. Executive Director for the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, Lindsay Bauer, tells KCII more about the group. “They’re based right here in Fairfield. They’ve got a pretty widespread appeal. This is a blues band. Their lead singer especially, she’s just got a powerhouse vocal. She’s incredible.”
Anyone who attends is asked to bring their own lawn chair, and in the event of inclement weather, concerts will move inside the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. For more information, click here.
