The Hillcrest Academy Raven softball team caught, passed and beat the Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders Monday night in West Point, 5-2. HTC scored twice in the second to grab the early advantage. Three Raven runs came home in the third to give Hillcrest their first lead and the Ravens got single insurance tallies in the sixth and seventh to secure the win.

The Ravens had seven hits on the night, two each for Delaney Shaw, Erin Bontrager and Lydia Beachy. Morgyn Nafziger, Malia Yoder and Claire Withrow each had an RBI. Nafziger, Shaw, Bontrager, Beachy and Addison Miller all scored once. Yoder went all seven in the circle for the win, spinning a one hitter against the Crusaders, with no earned runs, three walks and nine strikeouts. The Ravens improve to 10-10 with the win, Holy Trinity is now 5-11.
