Johnson County community members are encouraged to self-report any property damage received from Tuesday’s storms.

A series of storms made its way through the KCII listening area, including Johnson County, in the early evening hours of June 25. This activity included a short-lived tornado near the cities of West Branch and Lone Tree. Johnson County Emergency Management, local community partners, and municipalities are collecting data to better understand the extent of the damages that have occurred and help identify immediate resource needs. Self-reporting is voluntary, and is not equivalent to reporting damage to an insurance agency.

Self-reporting is now open, but closes tomorrow evening at 4 p.m. Any Johnson County residents with damages to report can do so here.
