The City of Washington will be using a new garbage and recycling collector. Effective Monday, July 1, the City will be using ABC Disposal Systems Inc., based out of Hiawatha as the garbage and recycling collection service. The garbage and recycling collection schedule will remain the same. They will be using the current garbage and recycling cans. There will be no change to the garbage collection schedule for the week of July 4th.
