Earlier this month, it was announced that Columbus Junction City Clerk, Julie Heindel, will be retiring at the end of the calendar year.

Replacing Heindel will be the City’s Deputy Clerk, Jodi Edwards. The two plan to train together over the coming months, with Heindel officially retiring in December. As Edwards makes the transition, the City of Columbus Junction is in the process of hiring a new deputy clerk.

Heindel has served as Columbus Junction City Clerk since 1996.
