From April 29 to May 31, members from nearly a dozen law enforcement agencies joined forces to conduct a five-week fugitive operation in Des Moines, Henry, and Lee counties.

 Called “Operation Time’s Up” (OTU), the operation resulted in the arrests of 45 individuals wanted on outstanding warrants. Each had pending criminal charges for crimes involving guns, drugs, assaults, sex offenses, or other crimes of violence. The operation also led to the seizure of two firearms, and a large quantity of illegal drugs. 

Members of this force included officers from the U.S. Marshals Service, Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa Department of Corrections High Risk Unit, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Keokuk Police Department, Mt.
