The Johnson County Board of Supervisors will meet tomorrow for a work session. Among the topics to be discussed at this meeting is the current state of the Sheriff’s Office and Jail.
According to Sheriff Brad Kunkel, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reached out to architectural firm Shive-Hattery last year to conduct a space needs study. While there is no plan for the future just yet, the study will help the Sheriff’s Office identify where expansion or renovation could be needed.
The work session for the Johnson County Board of Supervisors is Wednesday, July 10 at 9 a.m. To view the findings from the space needs study for the Sheriff’s Office, click here, followed by the “Jail Studies” tab.
