On Wednesday, at approximately 2:31 pm the Washington Police Department reported they were out with a subject with Washington County warrants. They arrested 31-year-old Adam Neff of Washington on three counts of controlled substance violation, all Class B felonies. On March 6th, a controlled buy operation was conducted in Washington. Law enforcement arranged to meet with Neff at his residence and purchase half an ounce of methamphetamine for a purchase price set by the defendant of $300.00. The defendant distributed the suspected methamphetamine and completed the transaction. This suspected methamphetamine was submitted to the DCI Crime Lab for analysis by the officer, which determined it was methamphetamine. Charges were set, and the bond was set at $100,000.
