Keota residents are advised that City Hall will have new hours moving forward.

Monday through Friday, the City Office at 225 East Broadway Avenue will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will close from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for lunch, but also to allow the City Administrator to take care of other responsibilities, such as overseeing the pool operations, out-of-town meetings, as well as clerical duties.

It should also be known that next week, Keota City Hall will be operating on shortened hours and a modified schedule due to the Keokuk County Expo and Washington County Fair. The Office will be open Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and closed Wednesday through Friday.
