Washington Demon baseball had a number of players both young and old that stood out for them this season, and five of those players have earned all-conference honors in 2024 in the Southeast Conference.

Among that group is Luke Beenblossom, who wraps up his career by being chosen as a first-team infielder. The senior led Washington with 25 total hits and had a career-high .333 batting average this season that included 14 runs scored and 13 runs batted in.

Beenblossom also had 17 stolen bases, tied for the team high and tied for second in the conference with teammate Kael Williams, who is also a first-team selection.

Williams hit .320 with a team-high 24 runs scored on 24 total knocks. The sophomore infielder also had a .463 on-base percentage that was top 10 in the Southeast Conference.

Senior catcher Caleb Zieglowsky makes the second team after batting .364 with four doubles, a home run and a team-best 14 RBI, as well as a .491 slugging percentage that was fifth-best in the conference. Junior Conner Leyden is a second-team choice at outfielder after hitting .264 and posting a .400 on-base percentage.

Honorable mentions go to freshmen Blayze Richardson and Brady Krantz, who were both key pitchers for a Demon team that went 5-21 this summer and had three conference wins. Leyden and Beeblossom are joined by juniors Mason Morgan, Joel Meyer and Luke Schiebel in receiving academic all-conference recognition.
