The fairgrounds in Columbus Junction will be buzzing tomorrow with the start of the 2024 Louisa County Fair. The annual event continues through Saturday, July 27.

In truth, initial activities began over the weekend, but things ramp up on Tuesday with non-stop shows and judging from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shows continue each day of the fair, with kids games, competitions, and grandstand entertainment beginning on Wednesday. At the grandstand that day is Impact Pro Wrestling, followed by stock car races Thursday, and the Twin States Truck & Tractor Pull Association on Friday.

There is truly something for all ages at the Louisa County Fair, whether it be Nick’s Kid Show, inflatables, baked goods and ice cream judging, bingo, live music, or arts and crafts. To view a full schedule, visit louisacountyfair.org.
