Last week, four members of the Mid-Prairie FFA participated at the Johnson County Fair in Iowa City. 

Mid-Prairie students joined 21 teams and more than 70 4-H and FFA members in the livestock judging contest. They were Charlotte Sieren, Peighton Ford, Brock Fisher, and Cuyler Rourke. Sieren placed first in cattle, second in swine, and first in overall individual. Fisher was second overall individual, first in swine, and second in cattle. Rourke placed eighth in overall individual, while Ford placed tenth in overall individual and fifth in swine. 

In addition to the individual accolades, the Mid-Prairie FFA team placed first in the Livestock Skill-a-thon Contest. The 2024 Johnson County Fair concluded last Wednesday.
