The 30th Annual Winfield Crooked Creek Days Celebration kicked off yesterday with a meal, bags tournament, and fireworks at Twin Lakes Country Club. Today, the festivities continue with wall-to-wall fun in Winfield.
Saturday begins with breakfast at the Presbyterian church from 7:30-9:30 a.m. While that takes place, registration for the Fun Run is at 8, with participants starting at 8:30. Other morning activities include the 4-H Bake Sale, a sand volleyball tournament, leading up to the Crooked Creek Days Parade at 11 a.m. The KCII Big Red Radio will broadcast live from 8a.m. to noon.
Saturday afternoon will see the “Beat” Out Cancer Bag Fundraiser, 3 on 3 basketball, a wagon and barrel train, the Bill Riley Talent Show and more. In the evening there will be live music, and adult bags tournament, 21 & over street dance, and movies on the ballfield.
