Monday, the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk football team takes their first step toward the new season hosting their 2024 camp. Prospective players will meet daily Monday through Thursday. Fifth through eighth grade athletes take the field from 5-6:20p.m. and freshman through senior players go to work from 6:30-8:30p.m. Both sessions will be held on the football practice field behind the indoor facility. Cost is $40 per student. Camp will focus on daily instruction from the Mid-Prairie staff, led by head coach Daren Lambert and include technique of fundamentals, position specific drills, teamwork activities and skill competitions.

The Golden Hawks have their first live action on August 23rd when they travel to West Liberty for their annual Gator Bowl scrimmage. The Hawks open the season August 30th with a trip to Wilton.
