On August 4th, Washington County Conservation responded to a report of a possible trespass violation in Marr Park. They arrested 43-year-old Calvin Britton of Burlington on two warrants out of Des Moines County. The first was an escape from custody as a felon, a Class D Felony, and the second was possession of a firearm by a felon, a Class D Felony. Britton was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he will be extradited to Des Moines County.
