The third biggest story from the last year in Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk sports sends us to the golf course, where the Hawks crushed it, in record setting fashion.

It was a dream season from start-to-finish for the Golden Hawks. They swept all of their River Valley Conference opponents in dual action. Mid-Prairie then made it back-to-back RVC Tournament titles shooting a 373 at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course to edge Tipton by two and beat the 14 team field. Four players shot in the 90s, led by senior Elliot Debler’s career best 90 to finish fifth overall and earn an Elite All-Conference spot. Senior Madi Davidson and junior Addison English finished with 94s to take eighth and lock up All-Conference bids. Senior Gabi Robertson shot 95 to place 10 and reach All-Conference status. Freshmen Olivia Swartzentruber and Morgyn Bender shot 103 and 105 respectively.

In the postseason, the Hawks finished as runners-up at their home regional opener in Kalona with a 379 score. Robertson led Mid-Prairie with a 92 to finish fourth. Mid-Prairie shot a 732 team total, with a school record 365 team score coming on day one.
