Washington County Public Health will be holding a free dental screening this month. The free dental screening will be available on Monday, August 19, from 3-6 p.m. Held on the fifth floor of the old Federation Bank Building at the Washington County Public Health Office, 110 North Iowa Avenue; there is no appointment necessary for the screenings. They will be performed on a first-come, first-serve basis. If your child has already had a dental screening performed this summer, the dentist who performed it must complete a Certificate of Dental Screening Form. Forms should be returned to the child’s school nurse. For the free screenings, parents and guardians are asked to only bring children who are required to get one.
