The Washington County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday. On the agenda was discussion and possible action to establish a public hearing for the Washington County Wind Energy Ordinance. Supervisor Richard Young shared his thoughts on the hearing, and asked County Auditor Dan Widmer what the process will be, “It has to be published and the first date that I can get it published would be a week from this Thursday. So it will be published on the 22nd and then you have at least ten days. So we are looking at the first Tuesday the third, September 3rd.” The Supervisors approved the public hearing for September 3rd at 9 am in their chambers. Their regular meeting will be held after the public hearing.
