KCII News spoke with U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley about Ukraine’s recent offensive moves against Russia, “I’m surprised that they are willing to make that move, I hope that they have the resources to hold the territory that they have taken over in Russia. I hope it teaches Russia a lesson, that they can’t be a safe haven. And maybe it will withdraw some Russian troops that are in the Ukraine back to Russia to defend Russia to a greater extent. I’m a little worried though, whether or not this territory that Ukraine has taken can be held for a long period of time. I just hope that Ukraine can get back to it’s own country and force Russia back from where it’s been in Ukraine for a long period of time, too long.”  Ukraine has moved across the border into Russia and now controls nearly 500 square miles of territory there.
