On Tuesday, August 27th, the Washington Police Department responded to a report of domestic assault. They arrested 34-year-old Stanley Davis on third-degree domestic abuse, a Class D Felony. Davis advised the Officer that he had pushed his partner and he had fallen. The victim stated that he was in pain and that his back hurt. Davis was taken to the Washington County Jail, where bail has been set at $5000. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for September 9th.
