The Sigourney Savages cruised to a straight-sets victory in volleyball Thursday at Cardinal. Sigourney took the first set 25-14 and never slowed down, taking the next two frames 25-13 and 25-19.

Senior middle hitter Reagan Clarahan led the Savages with nine kills and two blocked shots, while sophomore Bailey Gretter had five kills, six assists and nine digs.

Dani Aller had a big night on the back line for Sigourney, putting up team highs of nine kills and six serving aces, while fellow senior Josephine Moore came up with five aces, three kills and seven digs.

Junior middle Addy Fineran added five kills and two blocks, while senior setter Taylor Rozenboom handed out 14 assists to help the Savages improve their early record to 3-1. Sigourney will have the rest of the coming week off and prepare to play next Saturday at the English Valleys Tournament.
