KCII News spoke with US Senator Chuck Grassley about the 23rd anniversary of the September 11th attacks. “It’s a terrible thing that happened at that time to the United States. It’s the worst attack we have had since Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941. And I guess as it was happening, I couldn’t believe it had happened. The City there is rebuilt now, and I hope it never happens again.” Approximately 3,000 people lost their lives on September 11th, and thousands more have passed in the years since from cancer and other illnesses brought on by the toxins generated in the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.
