The Washington County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday. On the agenda was the first reading of the proposed Washington County Wind Ordinance. After discussion and some edits that will need to be made the Board approved the first reading of the ordinance with a five to zero vote. The Wind Ordinance focuses on set back distances, tower height, waste disposal, and distance from inhabited structures. The second reading will be held at their next meeting with the edited version brought before the board.
