The Southeast Iowa Superconference volleyball schedule heats up Thursday with a match in Kalona between rivals Lone Tree and Hillcrest Academy. The Ravens come into the night with a 6-2 overall mark, and at 0-1 in conference play. They were last on the court Saturday at the English Valleys Tournament where they finished in third place, going 3-1 with wins over WACO, Collins-Maxwell and the home Bears, with a loss to eventual champion Sigourney. This season Hillcrest has 260 digs, 185 kills, 160 assists, 67 aces and 14 blocks as a team. Individual leaders include, 159 assists for Claire Withrow, 76 digs, 70 kills and 20 aces for Malia Yoder with five blocks for Kylee Statler.

Lone Tree is 4-5 this year, 0-2 in league action. they dropped a five-setter to Highland Tuesday. On the year, the Lady Lions have 178 digs, 151 kills, 142 assists 58 blocks and 53 aces. Individual leaders include, Hayden Yoder with 120 assists and 13 aces, Dalanie Graap with 49 digs, Cate Sexton with 31 kills and Alyson Ford with 21 blocks. Hillcrest has won 20 of the last 27 in the series, and four of the last five including a sweep on opening night this season at Keota.

Action starts tonight at 7:30p.m. at Hillcrest Union.
