The Washington School District will be celebrating homecoming next week. Activities begin Sunday with hall decorating at the High School. Each day has a dress-up theme, Monday is PJ Day, Tuesday is Iconic Duo Day, Wednesday is Soccer Mom vs. BBQ Dad, Thursday is Decades Day, and Friday will be Demon Spirit Day. On Tuesday will be Iron Demon Volleyball and the home volleyball game. Wednesday continues with Iron Demon Volleyball and then the Powder Puff Game at Case Field. Thursday is spirit night with the pep assembly. The homecoming court includes King candidates Tyler Alderton, Logan McDole, Dirk Rothe, Luke Schiebel, and Trevin Sulentich. Queen candidates include Katherine Flannery, Ella Greiner, Kendall Hinrichsen, Lauren Horak, and Isabella Lujan. Friday is the homecoming parade beginning at 2 pm with a pep assembly in Central Park to follow. The JV football game begins at 5 pm and the Varsity football game begins at 7:30 pm. The homecoming dance will be held Saturday beginning at 8 pm.
