The Annual Kalona Fall Festival kicks off tomorrow with something for everyone , including live entertainment, old-world demonstrations, handmade items, chainsaw carver, antiques, kids activities, food booths, and more. KCII News spoke with Nancy Roth with the Kalona Historical Society to learn more about the festival, “Well this probably isn’t specifically a Fall Festival related thing, but we now have our train car on property. It is by the train depot. So, that to me is kind of a highlight that we are excited for people to be able to see how far we’ve come with our depot project, and hopefully they’ll be excited to see the finished product come spring.” The hours for the festival are 9 am to 9 pm on Friday and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday.
