Join Main Street Washington’s Design Committee & the Historic Preservation Commission on a walking tour through the historic churches in Downtown Washington. Learn about the city’s religious heritage and admire the stunning architecture of these iconic landmarks. Our knowledgeable guides will share captivating stories and insights into the history behind each church. Tour stops include United Presbyterian, Grace Community, City Point, 1st Baptist, United Methodist, and Marion Avenue Baptist. The tour includes a guided tour of downtown churches, refreshments, and an informative guidebook. Tickets are $15 per person, with tours being held on October 6th & 13th starting at 2 pm & 2:30 pm.
