The Columbus FFA had a great day at the annual Iowa FFA Livestock Career Development Event held at Iowa State University on August 24th. Columbus was High team overall, High team beef division, High team swine division, High team test division, High individual test with Cole Storm, and 2nd high individual test with Drew Totemeier.  Cole Storm, Mady Howell, Drew Totemeier and Cade William will compete at the national contest in Indianapolis at the end of October, The FFA Livestock Evaluation Career Development Event provides an opportunity for FFA members to display their agricultural knowledge and skills in the area of Livestock Evaluation. There were 168 members participating from 47 chapters at the Livestock Judging Contest.
