Join the Washington Chamber of Commerce in downtown Washington tonight for the Choctoberfest Chocolate Walk. The event will run from 4 to 8 pm, and tickets will be available tonight to purchase. Take a stroll and enjoy around 17 different chocolate samples and treats. KCII spoke with Washington County Hospital and Clinics Special Events Coordinator Emme Keith to learn more, “October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so that’s why we really wanted to do this in October. Regular mammograms are pretty vital for early detection of breast cancer, and we just encourage all women to schedule their mammograms at WCHC. Our imaging team really provides great quality and a seamless service to everyone. This event is for participants high school age and up.
