The Washington City Council met on Tuesday. On the agenda was a discussion and consideration of a resolution to declare certain property as surplus. Washington City Administrator Joe Gaa gave the council more information, “Whenever we are going to surplus property, and sell it. The Council should declare it surplus first, so once you do that, there are two vehicles on here they are not in great shape, but we will put those on a website. A couple of things will go likely just for scrap and don’t have really any value.” The Council voted unanimously to declare property a surplus and gave permission to sell it. The property includes, a 2012 Chevy Tahoe, a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer, 1994 Ford F-700 Dump Truck, and a motor from a Dodge Durango.
