At their meeting on Tuesday, the Washington County Board of Supervisors heard from County Ambulance Director Jordan Wright about County Ambulance Service Rates. Wright gives more information, “June 18th you guys passed the initial rates for the county for the year. Lift assists were left out of there, they didn’t change, so I don’t know if that’s why they were left out. You also have an advanced life support refusal, which should be worded advanced life support treatment without transport. The price doesn’t change, it’s the same as what lift assists had been. So I want to add the lift assists into the service rates so we can start billing for them. In the original approval they weren’t in there, so I don’t feel like we can charge for those from June until now. Which is thirty-one, $8,000.”  The Supervisors approved the rate for Lift Assists.
