The Council approved the third reading of the ordinance in a 4 to 1 vote, with Earnest voting no. The new ordinance states that operable vehicles may be parked on a temporary basis not to exceed 24 consecutive hours in the front yard. Operable vehicles parked or stored for more than 24 hours must be parked on an all-weather surface and only in a rear yard or side yard.
