Tuesday at approximately 11:36 pm the Washington Police Department apprehended a person with a Washington County warrant. They arrested 43-year-old Daymun Schadt of Washington for administering harmful substances, a Class D Felony. According to court documents, on October 2nd a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy was informed that Schadt had possibly spiked a drink with an unknown substance and given it to another employee at the Kalona Brewing Company. The next day, the victim went to Walmart and purchased a urine drug test. A video of the drug test was sent to the deputy. The test results came back positive for MDMA, THC, Methamphetamine, and Amphetamines. Schadt was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was being held on a $5000 cash bond before being released on his own recognizance.  A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 11th.
