The State Marching Band Competition was held on Saturday, October 19th, and area schools saw success at state. In Class 3A Washington’s Marching Demon Nation received a division I rating, and so did Mid-Prairie’s Marching Golden Hawks. Washington and Mid-Prairie competed in Pella.
