An order of continuance has been made in the trial of 54-year-old Ronnie Steven Zvacek of Kalona. He was charged with four counts of second degree sexual abuse, all class B felonies, four counts of lascivious acts with a child, all class C felonies, four counts of incest, all class D felonies, and four counts of indecent exposure, all serious misdemeanors. The charges stem from a series of alleged incidents between June 22nd and July 22nd of this year. According to court documents, his first preliminary hearing was held on August 26th, with a bond review, arraignment, and a second pretrial conference all held in September. On September 27th another pretrial conference was set for January 24th 2025 with a trial date of February 25th. Zvacek remains in the Washington County Jail with a bond of $100,000.
