The Washington Performing Arts Events Series is bringing a special event to Hanson Auditorium on Sunday. Kidsymphony: A Spooky Musical Adventure for the Whole Family! Will be Sunday, November 3rd, at 5:00 p.m. in the Washington Area Performing Arts and Events Center at Washington High School. KCII News spoke with Performing Arts Series board member Bob Youngquist to learn more about the event, “There’s hand out experiences with the instruments for the children. So if they love something from the audience they can simply go up and touch the instrument and perhaps if it’s ok, they can even play the instrument. This is very impressive for children to be able to do.” Tickets are $5 for adults and free for all kids and students. Bring the entire family in costume for a chance to win fun prizes, take photos at the costume photo booth, and enjoy some treats in the school’s cafeteria.
