The Washington Community School Board elected a new president and Vice President at their meeting on Wednesday. Mike Liska was selected to be the new President, and Mindy Rees Vice President. Earlier this year Troy Suchan had stated that he did not wish to be President for another term. The Washington Community School Board is entrusted with public funds and is responsible for overseeing the improvement of student outcomes, including student academic achievement and skill proficiency. The term for President and Vice President is one year.
