As people travel and gather for the holidays there are some steps to take to prevent spreading illness. Washington County Public Health Administrator Jenifer Roberts shares some helpful tips to stay healthy during the holidays, “Make sure that they’re washing their hands. If you’re sick stay home. If you have a fever definitely stay home.” She adds if you’re visiting a new baby in the family to not kiss the babies to prevent spreading germs.
